Curated Character began as a creative escape for Jessica Medeiros, who found joy in painting custom wedding trays for friends and family outside of her 9-to-5 job. Like many dreams, it was temporarily put on hold as life unfolded. Fast forward to 2023: Jessica, now a newlywed and first-time homeowner, was navigating the excitement of renovations alongside caring for her golden retriever puppy, Ponyboy.

When an unexpected health scare required emergency surgery for Ponyboy, Jessica and her husband David were thrown into a whirlwind of emotions. Thankfully, their beloved pup made a full recovery, and the experience brought clarity and inspiration to Jessica's creative journey. One late night, while checking on Ponyboy, Jessica had a spark of imagination: pairing organic design with bold geometric colors.

From that moment, Curated Character was reborn, channeling Jessica’s passion for creating unique, hand-painted pottery that brings personality and charm to everyday spaces. Based in Spokane, Washington, Jessica now shares her art with customers locally and beyond, infusing each piece with creativity and care. None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of her family, friends, and the life lessons that shaped her along the way.
